ABOUT THE PROJECT
The aim of this project is to improve the media literacy of our participants by raising their awareness of the positive and negative sides of mass media, sensitizing them to fake news strategies and targeted media propaganda, and equipping them with digital skills and knowledge so that they can correctly identify, use and disseminate information from mass media and social media and free themselves from their negative influence. The proposed objectives are: - Creating an information culture that opposes fake news or false myths. - Elimination of stereotypes beyond the social label - Attitude toward critical and participatory thinking - Attitude of tolerance and understanding of new cultures - Inclination toward active citizenship and active participation in local communities -Promoting awareness of civic responsibility, social inclusion, and tolerance of minorities, migrants, and refugees by presenting messages on media channels that reinforce European values. These objectives are in line with the Erasmus+ Youth Program and contribute to the improvement of key competences and skills of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, by strengthening the active participation of youth in a democratic European environment. The objectives promote intercultural dialog, social inclusion and solidarity, diversity, improvement of soft skills, critical thinking, self-confidence and initiative among young people.
