My experience with Çevka in Norway was great for me in many ways. The most outstanding one is that they always made us feel safe and provided our needs with a generous manner during the whole process. Once I arrived the project area, the group was getting together, and the atmosphere was friendly. During the project, we had lots of activities which gives us opportunities to get to know each other on a deeper level. Every morning and whenever we felt down, we did energizers altogether which were pretty fun. Sometimes I felt as if I am in kindergarten as a kid, which is a feeling that does not appear inside of us every day, as it is very special. Moreover, we also did discussions and brainstorming about the topic that brought us together in Hamar. I really appreciated the way we held discussions because of their being open-minded and respectful. One of the best memories I had there is the day we filmed our own short movies about pandemic. In addition to lots of fun we had, it was also very helpful for us to familiarize more to one another. I think the reason why we valued that day so much is that the mutual understanding of our existences and memories being the same regardless of how different we are culturally and how far we live from one another geographically. Lastly, I want to mention about the beautiful culture nights. We did a good job with cooperation with my team in my opinion as the other people were really amazed of our table full of Turkish snacks. They were such a great chance for us to take a better look into the folk traditions of several countries in one week. I had one of the most memorable period of my life in Hamar. Thank you!
