About the 'Time for dialogue' project

5 Yıl Önce

I didn't know if I was selected when I first applied to the project. It would be a perfect experience for me.I started to do research about the countries I will attend and the place I will stay. The profile I created in my head was different.I and my other 3 friends completed our journey successfully. And then we met our friends from other countries.Everyone was very friendly . We learned new things every day of the project.First day activities were generally aimed at getting to know each other. We were doing energy exercises in the morning. Then we were working on our project. On the one hand we had dialogue and new ideas and thoughts while developing our English. We had the opportunity to know all our friends one-on-one.We shared our cultures, traditions and other interesting details about our countries. The most important event for this was cultural nights.we introduced our country. We answered the questions and tasted various food samples from our country. We did a lot of team work. We've seen that we can do a lot better things together. We destroyed prejudices. For example, we had some negative thoughts about people living in turkey. But after meeting us their ideas changed in a positive way. Some days we tried to manage the group. We had a hard time. But they encouraged us. We made our own cultural food. And our friends were very happy. Our work was very nice and productive. It was a really great experience for me. It was above what I expected.I thank 'Diyarbakır Çevre Ve Kalkınma Derneği' for helping me participate in this project.I am grateful to them for working very meticulous and professionally. Thanks to all my friends, project managers and everyone who provides us with this opportunity. I learned a lot of tutorial stuff. I developed my English. And most importantly, I got rid of my prejudices. With all the love to all.
