13.03.2024 – ARRIVAL DAY Today was the arrival day, we arrived at so many different times. Lithuanians and Latvians were the first to ones to arrive. Then some of the Turkish and Romanian participants arrived around evening and some of them arrived late at night. It was exhausting for every one of us but it was also so exciting to watch beautiful sceneries of Norway from train windows. 14.03.2024 – INTRODUCTION DAY Today was Introduction Day. We played games that brought us closer, sharing our backgrounds and future plans. It was eye-opening to learn about each other's culture. In the evening, we immersed ourselves in Norwegian culture with a presentation, Kahoot game, and delicious food tasting. It was a memorable day of bonding and discovery. 15.03.2024 – TEAM BUILDING DAY Today we played a lot of games like Game of Thrones and Wolves of the Valley. Both of them were so fun and we enjoyed it a lot. At the end of Game of Thrones there was a XY game ; we learned not to trust to anyone (just kidding!) After dinner it was Turkish Culture Night. We bring soo many good food like baklava, cigkofte, lokum, pismaniye… We serve them Turkish coffe while our presentation. It was good but some people found coffee a little bitter. And after the presentation it was time for us to teach some of the Turkish dances like zeybek, delilo, damat halayi and semmame. We had so much fun while teaching the dances! 16.03.2024 – REACTING WITH CONFIDENCE Today was the third day of the exchange, the day we learned some first aid.We shared our inspiring first aid stories that helped us understand the importance of these skills even better. During the Lithuaniain cultural evening we had fun with some traditional Lithuanian dances, a colorful variety of their national foods disappeared from the table in a blink of an eye including traditional cake "tinginys" made from scratch that we all agreed was "labai gerai" Feeling confident in our cpr skills, we danced till we lost our breath. We knew how to treat the burns from our burning desire to have a great time. Knowing how to treat broken fractures prepared us not only for fun icebreakers and coffee breaks but also bround breaking parties. And we were prepared to make the final cuts for the movies during Oscar Day, because no cuts were untreatable for us anymore. 17.03.2024 – WORKSHOP DAY On March 17th, the morning started with the usual breakfast. After that, we went to the dog races at the Hamar hundekjørerarena, where, although we only saw one dog, we all had fun in a lively morning activity. Following this, we either returned to the cabin or went sledding, and around 16:30, we began the Eurovision game, where everyone had to improvise a unique dance using the moves learned from the first aid lessons and workshops. In the evening, around 21:00, we had a Romanian cultural evening, featuring a unique Eurovision song, presentations about Romanian culture and places to visit, followed by a Kahoot to test our knowledge. Then, we were treated to traditional dances and a simulation of a traditional wedding, followed by traditional snacks prepared, such as a traditional platter, cozonac, eugenii, and others. The atmosphere became increasingly fun throughout the evening, as we continued to dance and enjoy ourselves until the next day. 18.03.2024 – DISCOVER NORWAY AKA FREE DAY Today we had an opportunity to discover Norway or stay in the accommodation and rest. Approximately everyone took a bus to Hamar then some of us decided to go to take a train to Oslo and other went to discover Lillehammer. In Oslo we went to Munch museum, walked through the Karl Johans street and we also went to Oslo Badstuforening sauna to relax. Others in Lillehammer visited the place were the Olimpic hame was held and also walked around beautiful city of Lillehammer. Those who went to Lillehammer got back in the accommodation around 4pm. and rested. The ones chose to discover Norway was home around 10pm. So to sum up, today was as perfect day to experience Norway. We caught wonderful memories. 19.03.2024 – HIKING DAY Today,we were very sleepy, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. Latvians were diligently preparing for the cultural evening. Before the cultural evening, we went hiking. We were all wet and very tired. Some fell through the snow and it was very funny until you yourself started falling and getting wet. We ate deliciously, Janis was pleased that we ate meat. When the cultural evening began, we all drank the most delicious alcohol in the world and started dancing. We played musical chair, which we all kicked our butts off, but it was fun. 20.03.2024 – OSCAR DAY We filmed our movies today and we explored that we have some hidden directors, actresses and actors in our group! It was so fun everyone was laughing, crying, screaming, shouting all at once. We shoot all day and it was time for red carpet at night. Everyone was looking so good and sharp. There was 6 nominations: “Best Editor, Best Bloopers, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Movie, Best Poster.” Unlike the real Oscars there was a fair voting and objective jury :) 21.03.2024 – DISSEMINATION DAY Today we divide into groups, some of us did a poster some of us make a video from our memories, some of us make a leaflet and we wrote what we did for each day. We are a little upset today because we get so used to each other it’s gonna be hard for us to go back to our cities. We miss our family, friends and loved ones but we also gonna miss these days in Norge! Maybe some another time we’ll have opportunity to make something together, who knows?..
