17-26 November Iceland Save the Future

17-26 November Iceland Save the Future

5 Ay Önce

It was my first Erasmus project and I had a great time with my friends. I met lots of people who live in Germany but have other nationalities. So it gave me a chance to exchange about our cultures. I learned lots of words from other languages like Indian, German, and Persian. We compared our cultural activities and our traditional dances. I had a great time while teaching my traditional dance and learning theirs. We traveled to some local places. I saw lots of big waterfalls. We visited the National Park and the Golden Circle tour was great. It was cold but running in the rain with my friends was so much fun. I got wet under the waterfall, we saw a big rainbow together. It was like a dream. However, the most important place for me was the black beach. The black sand was great and I shot lots of great photos. The view was like a medieval movie. I thought that I was in a sci-fi movie character. We laughed a lot while running away from the big waves. We had a great time in the exercises too. We worked as a team and learned about environmental issues and how to find solutions for them. We talked about our future, and how to save it with basic moves like turning off the lights when it is not needed. We prepared posters about our future. Eurovision night was really fun. We practiced a lot to dance on the stage and as a result, we won the Eurovision as a team. We laughed a lot at the costumes and dances and had a great time. The other enjoyable moment was the Oscar night. We prepared short films about our environment and saving the future. I had a great time filming the movie, editing it, and making a poster. Our movie won two awards. One of them was the best actor award, Nurullah my cast-mate won it with another person and I won the best actress award with my friend Berfu. I felt so proud and informing people about our environment made me happy. If I change a person’s mind it is my big pleasure. I will miss my friends and I will miss these moments. Iceland is so beautiful and I am so happy to participate in this project. Thanks to Erasmus + and ÇEVKA for this great opportunity. I think everyone should try it for once. Thank you so much.
