12-21 JULY CZECH REPUBLIC NON TRADITIONAL GAMES
I participated in the youth Erasmus+ project in the Czech Republic between 12-21 July. We played non traditional games and reinforced our sense of unity. There were participants from Lithuania, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Czech Republic, Greece and Germany in the project. It was great to team up with each of them. Among the games we played were badminton, beach volleyball, kubb, ringo, ultimate frisbee, streetball. At the same time, we went to the lake in our free time and spent time in the lake. The restaurant where we had our dinner was very close to the lake and they were very friendly people. The hosts in the region we encountered were always very kind and smiling. Even though I had a lot of fun at the games, the more important thing for me was to connect with these people. Apart from sports, we also sang songs and played different games. We listed the characteristics of good and bad leaders, and most of all, we learned how to be a family as part of a team. Among these games, I liked the water games that we played in the lake the most. Maybe it will always remain in my heart as a place that I want to return to again and again in my life. The friendships and bonds I have made are very valuable to me. At the same time, I saw how much sports can change my life. I teach every game we play in the Czech Republic to my friends in Turkey. I also taught them the fun activities we did before the games and the songs we sang in the evenings. My goal is to continue the energetic program we won there without losing it in my own country. I started to wake up more energetic every day we exercised. This program helped me a lot in making sports a habit. There are a lot of things I said "I'm glad I joined", but this is in the first place. I think every young person should attend such an event at least once in their life. The best way to bond with people from different cultures and countries. The activities help you make a habit of sports at an early age and make you realize its importance. Since people from other countries are open to communication, you can help each other in every way. You can establish good friendships and bonds. You learn to spend time together, to be a family. As for the bad part, saying goodbye to everyone at the end of the project is the only bad part. I miss that environment already. Thank you very much to everyone who contributed. For me, it was one of the most fun activities I've ever had in my life.
