Hi I’m Aişe Nur Kızıltaş, I have attended a project called Inspire and it held on 3-15 March 2023 by Diyarbakır Çevka Association. The participant countries were Denmark, Mayotte Island, Türkiye and Norway. It was the first time for me to have 3 transit while I was traveling by plane. That’s why I was really excited also I was worrying about the fact that I might miss the transit flight and have to stay extra days. That was my fear. I was also afraid of having that long flight which lasted 11 hours 45 minutes from Paris to Réunion Island. Like I was thinking about it we had an engine issue while we were landing to Réunion Island. We’ve waited at the airport for 5 hours and the airline crew said to us that we need to stay overnight, while they are fixing the plane’s engine, so they arranged us Le Saint Alexis Hotel & Spa, Ile de La Réunion a hotel. I really enjoyed at that stay, we swam at the pool together. The upcoming day we had our flight to Mayotte island, to be able to arrive the venue we needed to take ferry, after we took the ferry we waited for the bus and finally we arrived to the accommodation place. Rest of the Turkish team welcomed us. The day after we started with ice breaking games and name games. During the project we worked on environmental sustainability, we made lots of workshops about that subject. At our spare time and our off day we went for canoeing, swimming, sunbathing, camping and for trekking. Every country had their cultural nights and they were amazing. My favorite cultural night was Norwegian cultural night because it was my first time to experience it. People were so friendly and I loved this project.
