2.-15. Mart - Mayotte

Hello, my name is Büsra and I joined the project as a Turkish participant… I am glad to have had the opportunity to participate in the project ☺️. I had always dreamed of a trip to Africa, but no one from my family or circle of friends will travel to Africa because of prejudice. So when I heard about the project for Mayotte, I wanted to participate, as it is both an island that sounds more tropical and attractive, and I knew that I would not be alone, as you are with your own team and teams from the others countries, so I wasn't insecure, I was comfortable with the team I was traveling with. Life experience is important, to go on a trip to somewhere so remote and unique is going to bring you a lot of memorable experiences. It is a personal development to travel to places you have not traveled to before. It is also important to get out of your comfort zone once in a while. This is exactly how you can develop as a person and develop your personal skills and personality. Precisely during such trips/tours you will know your own limits and perhaps develop them. In addition, you will also be able to develop your communication skills, as you are faced with strangers whom you do not know. The most important thing during such trips where you meet people from different countries is that you have to speak English, even if they may find it difficult. It may well be that you don't dare because of the language barrier because you feel that you will be laughed at, but that's actually when you realize how much English you know. If you look at it from the positive side, you can say that it is actually a really good opportunity to develop your personality and develop English language skills. Everyone is well aware that the biggest challenge is probably the language, so no one makes fun of you because you might not be able to remember a word, say a word incorrectly, or say a sentence incorrectly. On the contrary, you get help to learn how to say things correctly. This is exactly what I love about these projects, that you have the opportunity to develop yourself, together with others and help from others. The best thing about the projects is that by the time you get to the end of the project, you've definitely made a lot of great friendships. Some may be so good that you will see those people in the future. So all in all, projects will help you develop your personal skills
