Hello everyone. I'm Eren. Thanks to the Çevka association, I had the opportunity to participate in the March 2-15 Mayotte project. The main topic of the project was environmental sustainability, which has importance for our future. Throughout the project, we have carried out activities related to the environment and produced new projects. People i met there were all very friendly and funny people. It was as enjoyable to introduce Turkish culture to people from other nationalities as it was to learn about their cultures. Since it was my first erasmus+ project, there were many question marks in my head, but the association's employees helped a lot during the process. After I came to Mayotte and met people, the questions in my head was replaced by one thought: I wish I'd never left here. The chance to spend 2 weeks on an island filled with such amazing natural beauties is not something you encounter every day. Moreover, the people of Mayotte were so hospitable that I never noticed i was 6000 kilometers away from home. During the project, we have done a wide variety of activities such as kayaking, tent camping, beach football tournament, hiking. I am grateful to the Norwegian, Danish and Mayotte teams, especially the Turkish team, who brought the experience there to the highest level. I hope that these friendships we have established there will continue for a lifetime.
