Hello everyone! I am Aybüke Kılınçarslan. I attended a learn and teach Project in Norway thanks to Çevka. The learn and teach project taught me a lot in many ways. Among them, of course, there is also getting to know other countries. I can say that doing activities together for 10 days with 30 people, whose cultures are very different, and spending 24 hours together, literally, broadened my perspective on many things. Since this project was learn and teach, we were both receiving a training and doing many interactive activities during the day. Team building was a must for the activities. Almost everything we did was based on team building. 7 countries were divided into random groups each time and I had the opportunity to hear the opinions of almost everyone. I can say that it gave me awareness. And also being close in age helped us understand each other better. When I got to know different cultures so closely, my respect and tolerance increased. We carried out activities on all the emotions, attitudes and behaviors of human beings that you can think of, and observed both ourselves and each other, and taught each other many things with entertaining presentations. I had the opportunity to understand that no matter what nation or culture we belong to, we are all human beings and we have common feelings and values. Also, thanks to this project, I had the opportunity to get to know Norwegian culture closely. Norwegian food and hiking were among the indispensables of this project.
