Before this project, I didn’t know anything about this island. Didn’t even know it existed. The project’s name was “Dance with Me” and it was carried out to bring awareness against sedentarism. I have always had a shyness against dancing in a crowd and this project helped me overcome this. My expectations were exceeded greatly during the project. The food, accommodation, organization team, participants… Everything was perfect. The beauty of the island and the people made this project an unforgettable experience. During the project, we danced, traveled, swam, and learned a lot. We traveled to the active volcano on the island and many waterfalls. Every place we went to had its own charm. It is also important to mention that the animals on the island were a treat for an eye. There were many beautiful birds above the sky, many unique fishes below the ocean, and many different types of crabs walking along the sand. I would like to thank ÇEVKA for this great opportunity to partake in this project. The island was “an island close to Madagascar” before the project but now it is Réunion Island with amazing memories right where it belongs.
