I found this project on the "ab project management" page on Instagram and applied. As both an environmentalist and a person who likes to travel and explore nature, I think that I have participated in a project just for me. Thanks to Diyarbakır Environment and Development Association, I am very happy to participate in this project. After the auditions were completed, Mr. Serdar contacted us by establishing a group on WhatsApp at first. He gave us information about the contents such as tickets, travel details, items that we will need on the island, etc., allowing us to see what awaits us in this project. When we landed on the island, we had already bonded because we were already flying with most of our group mates. Afterwards, our group leader greeted us and we set off for the ducth area where we had our accommodation. Although the rooms were not very comfortable, our experience in the Caribbean was priceless. The internet was never working, the food was not the kind we are used to, so we could not say that we ate it very fondly, we were informed that there would be no hot water for the shower, but the frequent water cuts forced us a little. Everyone in the Norwegian team was very cute, but we couldn't catch the same frequency due to the age difference between the two groups. Our team leader was a very nice person, but it was a pity that he remained passive in solving some problems in the group. Despite everything, I collected good memories, got to know a different culture, felt the wonderful nature and maybe visited a place I could not go in my lifetime. Besides the good things in life, there can be negative things as well. The important thing is to choose good memories and move on. Thank you çevka family, I hope we can meet again in new projects.
