My experience in 5-16th December “My Vote” project in Denmark was truly unforgettable. I feel really lucky that I was able to be a part of it. This project taught me lots of things about the EU institutions and elections, how to be an active citizen, how to raise awareness about political matters, what do the locals think of the elections and how can we make changes on a personal and national level. The informal way of learning about all of those made it fun and educational at the same time. I learned how to work with other people who are completely different from me and found common grounds with them. I made awesome new friends, learned about their culture, tried their traditional foods, visited one of my bucket-list cities which is Copenhagen and so many more things. I sincerely thank Diyarbakır Çevre ve Kalkınma Derneği for this amazing opportunity. Hope to be in other projects as well! ❤️
