Inspiration, as you can understand from the title, that project was an inspiration to my life. At the beginin i did not want to go out of my comfort zone because i believed dancing was not something for me. But with time, i understood that for dancing, you dont need a specific skill to dance. A very very supportive participant group and a lovely facilitator, made the project insanely good. With friendship and being sincere, it is what makes a project useful and reliable. We had both of them. 6 countries were involved and all countries had different songs and dances those could make us learn new things about the world. Singing other countries' songs, dancing their traditional dances, after a point, i felt like i was a part of whatever i was doing. I got out of my comfort zone but it didint feel like i was out of my comfort zone. From facilitatior to the participants, everyone was having fun and learning a lot of things just by being friends and sharing cultures.Even when we had problems to get through we were managing to do it with ourselves. Also project being held in Istanbul was one more plus for me because i had the chance to see and learn about Istanbul more. For me, one of the loveliest cities it is. The people i met, friendships we had/have, it will leave a beautiful mark on me and i look forward to hold my inspiration in my heart, not let it go !
