I have participated Erasmus + youth project, called No-Hate in the UK/Norwich with Cevka during 25 February-5 March 2019. The project was about hate speech and hate crime strongly present all over the word. There was 60 young people from different countries such as Macedonia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Estonia, The United Kingdom and Turkey. I believe participation of Turkey had great impact on project to address prevention of hate speech and break down stereotypes. Additionally, we have shared our experience about Syria crisis and situation of refugees in Turkey to demonstrate example for social exclusion and inclusion. There were also discussions to create ideas about how to prevent online-offline hate speech and to raise awareness about consequences of hate speech. Moreover, we had energizers and team building activities during the day. Also, we have presented Diyarbakir with our local food and dances in the cultural night and learned about other countries’ traditions. It was great experience to be with Cevka in the UK.
