I had the chance to participate in a one-week Erasmus+ project themed "Dance and Culture" at the Mellerup Centret hostel, close to the town of Agerskov. This is my first project that I have participated in and everything was uncertain for me until the project starts. Denmark was a country that I wondered about with the books I read, the TV series and movies I watched. We were a total of 30 people from Turkey, Macedonia and Ukraine. Each day was fulfilling (or even exceeding) the purpose of the project, and it was both fun and instructive. I have been working as a psychological counselor for 15 years and I have learned a lot of activities that I can use in my profession. We had the opportunity to get to know the music, dance and culture of the aforementioned countries and to share about our own music, dance and culture. Apart from music and culture, we also gained: New people, new stories, new places, intense coexistence and communication, new games, using English for daily needs, communication and activities, writing and composing songs...
