I participated for the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange program which took place in Madeira in the month of September of this year. The main topic of this consisted in EKO vs EGO. The thing that impressed me the most in the project was the diversity in the daily activities and the fact that these could influence in a positive way the mindset of society and protect our world. In those activities consisted brainstorming in group, with these we found ways for our society to become more eco friendly and less focused in the ego. Additionally, I learned new concepts and facts about environment and recycling proccesses which can be important for my future. This experience also consisted in the exploration of the island through hiking in the nature and put in practise the concepts that we acquired through the production of short innovative videos. After the project I felt more motivated to make an effort to become more environment friendly through the practise of the concepts acquired, and now I know that for we to make a change the change needs to starts first with yourself so you can be an example for others to change.
