Back to Green Land

4 Yıl Önce

The project was about global warming and how to protect our world. Almost 42 participants took part in this project in Greenland/Kangerlussuaq on 12-21th of November. It was great experience to share many responsibilities in such a big group. Every national group prepared three meals a day for the whole participants. It was awesome to taste traditional meals of six different countries. We started a campaign about plastic bags. We decided that each country collected their own plastic goods to recycle them in their own country. Because we've realized that people burn all garbage in Greenland. We made our own soup by using coffee and other flavours. Also we turned old curtains into verious bags to use them at home. We visited a school and did informative, enjoyable activities with students related to decomposing of garbage. I believe that the activities were very effective to increse students awareness about climate change and consuming a lot. I had to chance to meet lots of students there. I talked to the manager and convinced him to contact my students in Hatay. It was wonderful for my students. They have never met people from any countries. I have lots of unforgetable memories thanks to the project and the organisation. I definitely recommend you to attend at least one Erasmus+ project. I hope I can participate in another one soon.
