After each youth exchange experience with Cevka it is nice and useful to gather around and look back at the project that we have been a part of. This time I look back to a youth exchange, which took place in Greenland between 12 November –21 November called “Back to Greenland” The project gathered 42 participants from 6 countries: Lithuania, Slovakia, UK, Denmark, Romania and Turkey. The aim of the project was related to the biggest global problem. Global warming. We made many interviews with local people of Greenland in order to understand their feelings and observations about climate change. They said that they felt this change very deeply and realized that their country was getting warmer. In addition to this interviews, we made very useful workshops. Especially some workshops that we work together to find alternative products instead of harmful ones for our world has provide an opportunity for me tp make many changes in my life. Besides, I've always wanted to see the northern lights. Thank to this project and CEVKA I've experienced wonderful moments, and learned new things about protecting our world. All in all, I look back on this beautiful youth exchange with joy, and I am very grateful to have taken part of it!
