A Nordic Dream Come True

A Nordic Dream Come True

5 Yıl Önce

Diyarbakir Environment and Development Association has been providing youngsters with opportunities that would fulfill their dreams. And this time I was the lucky one! Thanks to this association (which is more like a family to me), I've had the chance to step on the beautiful Nordic Land and feel the ravishing thing called Nordic Spirit. The project gathered 50 people from 10 different countries, which was a great chance to discover different cultural aspects and features about those countries. I like the idea of less participants from each country because in this way you have more chance to interact with more people from different countries. Thanks to this idea, when the project was about to finish everybody has already made lifelong friendships and this is definitely something remarkable. When I look back at this experience I can see that it didn't only give me broader perspectives to interpret things but also enhanced the form I comprehend the nature, human relations, cultural differences, the importance of integration, the beauty of unity in diversity, the politics and the life itself. Hereby I feel the urge to thank these people who helped me make my dream come true and also who were part of this dream. It is marvelous to be a part of this family.
